Free Initial Consultation: We come to your home, meet you and your pet(s), go over our policies and online scheduling system. At any time you want to meet another sitter there is a one time $25.00 fee since they are paid for their time.
- 2 sets of (tested keys) during the initial meet and greet visit.
- IF we have to make a copy of a 2nd key a fee of $20 will be added to bill for cost and our time.
- There is a key pick-up charge of $18 each way if we need to arrange pick up of keys for future pet sitting requests.
PAYMENTS: Vouchers are sent out through email EVERY Friday am. 4 Paws Walker offers weekly, bi-weekly and monthly billing options, just let us know what you prefer. We accept checks, cash and PayPal payments. Please make all checks payable to 4 Paws Walker, LLC. Check payments may be left in a visible location for your dog walker to pick up or you may mail them to the address on your voucher.
DELINQUENT PAYMENT POLICIES:
There is a automatic fee adjusted 20% late fee for all late payments. You will receive a 3 day grace period following the due date for services rendered, after which there will be a charge on the entire balance. If there is an unpaid balance for over 10 days, 4 Paws Walker, LLC reserves the right to discontinue caring for your pets until balance is paid in full. Balances that remain unpaid for 30 days will be sent to collections.
ALL scheduling must be completed through our online scheduling system (please do not text or email your schedule)
- PetSitClick Scheduler This is to ensure both proper billing and accurate scheduling.
- All weekday scheduling MUST give 24hrs notice OR before 3pm the following day.
- Placing a last minute request in late evening is very hard for us to accommodate our schedules.
- 72 hrs notice, for all weekend pet sitting. This way we have proper time to coordinate. We understand work schedules and last minute things come up, we try our best to always accommodate. EARLY HOME RETURN: Unfortunately, if you return home early from your trip, we will not be able to refund you for any visits you will not need. These time slots were reserved for you; therefore, other assignments could not be taken. Clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time/visits scheduled.
Let’s face it! Things happen. No one likes to pay for something they’re not going to use. We get it. We really do! However, when a booking comes in, our amazing pet sitters organize their life to make certain your animals needs are met at the scheduled time and convenience for you. We are a 365 days a year pet care service and adhere to a strict no overbooking policy. We will turn away business when our sitters are assigned to care for your pets.
CANCELLATION POLICY: In order to provide the absolute best care to our clients, keep our team members happy and productive, and ensure our office is operating as efficiently as possible, we have implemented a 4 Paws Walker Cancellation Policy on all appointments.
We give a full refund ONLY if you meet the following requirements: Midday Dog walking: You MUST cancel online before 9am on day of service (preferably the night before)
Pet Sitting: 48hrs advanced notice (weekend pet sitting)
Overnight Stays: 7 days notice
Pet Taxi: Cancel online before 8am on day of service
Failure to meet these conditions will result in a charge. Our walker’s time is important to us, and it’s not fair for them to drive over to a home and find out it has not been canceled. Advance notice of cancellation is most appreciated
HOLIDAYS: There will be an additional $15 charge for peak holiday periods including: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
*Regular Daily Walks do not occur on Holiday, unless separately scheduled.
Office Hours: Monday 8am to Sunday 4pm
You can expect a response back during our Office Hours. If after Office Hours, please expect a response after we reopen the following business day.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
Because inclement weather provides travel and traffic challenges for out team to arrive safely at your home to take care of your pets, 4 Paws has implemented an official inclement weather policy as follows below:
- If the Federal Government is Closed our offices are closed also.
- If there is 2 inches or more of snow in the morning of walks, we will also be canceling all walks
- We will post Walk or NO WALK status on the following communications when inclement/bad weather is expected.

During inclement weather, if your walks or visits are not essential OR you are changing your plans to stay in town or stay home from work, please let us know so we can make other arrangements.
If you are out of town and we are scheduled to come in we will make every effort to come on our scheduled day, but it may have to vary on time, due to weather forecast, etc. Having an alternative caregiver close by is also an option (if need be) so that we can coordinate with that person in case we need to call them, we would need their contact number, IF this happens, we will contact you to work with you on a plan to care for your pets for that day.
If you live in an area where our walker cannot reach your home safely, because of poor road conditions, service will not be provided. You will receive an email notification if this happens. If it takes our walker additional time to reach your home due to road issues, lack of cleared access area, etc., the additional time will be counted as part of your walking time. If this happens, we will notify you within 12 hours via email.
Example: if it normally takes a walker 15 minutes to reach your home and because of snow and ice, it takes the walker 30 minutes to reach your home, your visit will be shortened by 15 minutes to make up the different in driving time. Your pets will still get the potty break they need. This policy is the only way our walkers can keep on schedule when bad weather strikes to ensure all of our clients at least get a 10-15 minute potty break on these challenging days.
